Every Time I Lie to Myself

This is a song about how what we tell ourselves creates our reality.
Even when we lie.

I think sometimes when I am unhappy, it's because I'm not being totally truthful with myself.

I'm most unhappy when I feel ineffective and purposeless. And this comes into direct collision with my belief that I have a very profound and important reason to be here. To share my music.

Enjoy.

Every Time I Lie to Myself by Matt Ramsey

Lyrics:

"I try to tell myself it isn't right
But every time I catch myself
I look inside

Chorus:
It gets so blue in my mind that I don't know what to do
Because every time I lie to myself
It comes true

Blue blue blind shades across my eyes
Sing sing sing me your lullabies

Chorus

Be careful what you say on that microphone
Because every note you sing finds a home

Chorus"
